Adam Kempenaar (BA 1998, MA 2005) knows good content when he sees it. As a podcasting pioneer and veteran pro sports content manager, he brings his wealth of industry experience to the classroom to curate student success through courses in social media and content creation. Bailey Ortega’s and Kiersten Mann’s successes are examples of Adam’s effective teaching.

The University of Iowa's summer session is when many students apply what they learn in a classroom to the working world they aspire to enter after graduation. Few programs provide students the menu of options to earn course credit as they apply their knowledge and skills the way UISRM does. This edition of the UISRM Newsletter shares inspiring stories of students earning both guided and independent field experience.
