With the passing of the first day of spring, campus eagerly anticipates the lengthening days, warming temperatures, and blooming trees. Just as trees blossom, this is the time in the school year when faculty see students blossom. A semester and a half since the start of the school year has provided ample time for months of learning and the excitement for summer experiential learning opportunities to show in student success.
It is fitting then, that at this point in the spring semester, UISRM announces its 2025 scholarship recipients. In the case of the Student Success applications, students shared how they experienced success after adversity, like we overcome the cold of winter to get to the warmth of spring. For Leadership & Innovation applicants, students shared stories of empowering others and/or creating something to grow just as we notice trees growing taller towards the sky throughout spring. In UISRM Incoming Undergraduate Student applications, future Hawkeyes discuss their early enthusiasm for sport and recreation similar to how a flower seed expands to break through the soil.
After reviewing the most competitive field of applicants yet, UISRM is proud to announce the 2025 UISRM scholarship recipients.
