The San Diego Sports Consulting Project and UISRM go back to 2012! Hawkeyes work with clients from around the San Diego metro area including the San Diego Padres, San Diego Wave FC, The Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, the Big West Conference, and the National Sports office of ALS Society.

The Summer 2025 experience begins in Iowa City with a pre-week (May 19-23) where students learn the basics of consulting and dig into the foundations of sport revenue alongside their peers in the Business of Golf and Team USA practicum groups.
SDSCP students then meet at the University of San Diego on Sunday, June 1 for a two-week session filled with site visits, client meetings, presentations, and networking. There is also time to explore "America's Finest City" and one of the most intriguing sports and recreation markets in the United States. The experience ends in San Diego on Saturday morning, June 14.
The $2500 course fee covers the pre-week activities and room and board for the two weeks at USD. Tuition, travel, and beachwear are the responsibility of the student.
