Current students are gaining valuable work experience through internships. Recent UISRM graduates are entering the sport and recreation industries with internships and full-time employment. - Kara Kehe (Lecturer, MA 1999) completed the Quality Matters Teaching Online Certificate and presented “High-impact Collaborations for Current and Future Coaches” at the 2023 SHAPE Iowa Convention.

Lakyn Boltz (MA 2020) was recognized in Ingram’s business magazine as a “20 in their Twenties” honoree for her work at Sporting KC!
